Individual, Couple, & Family Therapy

Begin.

Starting new things can be scary for many. Therapy often falls into that category due to the level of vulnerability it takes to show up for yourself or loved ones. But the truth about vulnerability is this:

Vulnerability, often numbed away, is also the birthplace of joy, gratitude, and healing. If you push through the fear and show up for yourself in a different way, you may just create a whole new space of healing and growth.

What To Expect.

As a systemic thinker, I am always thinking of how the system is functioning—whether that is the individual on their own, within a couple, or the whole family system. I take into consideration each individual and their unique experiences.

When working with children and adolescents, I often believe the best work can be done in family sessions. I encourage the family to attend so what we work on in session is brought home and continues to be worked on with the support of each parent involved. The tools provided often are linked to emotional awareness & management, attachment, executive functioning, and social support.
